Um námskeiðið

This course will include information about evidence-based practices teaching multisyllabic decoding, fluency, and comprehension to students ages 8-10. It will begin with models of development and move quickly to instructional routines emphasizing syllable types and morphemes, repeated reading, and text structure mapping.

Participants will discuss applications in Icelandic and in other languages.

·      This course is for teachers, intervention providers, and school leaders serving students ages 8-10.

·      Participants should bring computers and books that they would like students to read in class.
